Humanitarian Award 2024
On Saturday March 1, 2025 the Aquatics Sports Association of Jamaica will be hosting its inaugural Awards Ceremony in recognition of athletes across all aquatic disciplines for their contribution to their country and sport.The Humanitarian of the Year award will be given to the swimmer who has given selflessly and worked to better the lives of others and society at large.If you would like to be considered for this award please submit an essay with a maximum of 500 words stating why you believe that you deserve this award.Kindly submit your essay by February 15, 2025 to vpjamaicaswimming@gmail.com
Awards Ceremony - An Evening of Excellence
We are excited to announce that The Aquatic Sports Association of Jamaica (ASAJ), the entity responsible for governing all the Aquatic Sporting Disciplines in Jamaica, will be hosting an awards ceremony for our National and Age Group Athletes for their performance and contribution to their sport in 2024.This inaugural event, An Evening of Excellence, will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Pool Closure
This is to advise that the National Aquatic Centre, Independence Park, Kingston will be closed at 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Wednesday and Thursday, December 25 and 26, 2024. The Facility will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024. With every good wish for a Holy, Peace-Filled and Happy Christmas Season to all members of the Aquatic family.

Kingston, Jamaica – August 21, 2024: The Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) proudly announces a record-breaking turnout for the 2024 Summer Swim Meet, held at the National Aquatic Centre in Kingston. The event saw over 400 athletes from across the island, representing clubs from Montego Bay to Port Antonio, competing in various swimming disciplines, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
